With an extensive background in engineering, a degree from Humber College, and fifteen years of experience in the field - Spencer specializes in adapting spaces and materials to make your vision a reality. Spencer’s spatial expertise and efficient problem solving skills allow him to troubleshoot with ease and direct his team to expedite projects to meet your needs. Spencer will work with you from start to finish to ensure that the final product exceeds your expectations.

Bio

Ihor's background includes digital prepress for commercial printing before moving on to work extensively in the signage industry. Having studied at the George Brown School of Design, he brings both knowledge and experience to the table with his ability to reconcile technical requirements with visual expression. His objective has always been on merging great design with functionality and he is always eager to push himself creatively with new and interesting projects.

Handverk gets a New Home

Handverk Design  has a new home at the Ildsjel Collective. Located in the industrial Port Lands area just east of downtown Toronto, our new location offers greater space for larger manufacturing capabilities as well as convenient access to better service our clients in the GTA and surrounding regions. The collective is also home to other small businesses and creative agencies, creating a community of collaborators and offering more resources for our clients.

New Graphtec Plotter

Håndverk Design has updated some of it’s equipment and we have just added a brand new Graphtec FC8600-130 to our studio. This roll-fed, high-performance plotter allows us to cut vinyl up to 54″ in length with efficient speed and accuracy. We are excited to start implementing it’s capabilities for your upcoming projects!

CPL Vinyl & Cutout Letters

A client of ours had just recently renovated and moved into a brand-new office building and we had the privilege of doing some work for the new space.

These are the company’s core values cut out of white and blue vinyl and applied to the main hallway wall facing the doors when you enter the building. The lettering looks exceptionally good on the vibrant and rich green wall colour.

Custom Recognition Plaque

We conceptualized and built this custom piece for our client as part of a recognition plaque for one of Enbridge’s Ride to Conquer Cancer events. We used the Ride logo as the basis for the design and incorporated the brand colours to form a unique and recognizable piece. This plaque features removable caps for easy insertion of new graphics as well as brushed metallic gold finish for a clean and highly refined look. The large background framing the plaque is a direct print on alupanel matching the specified pantone colours.

DTZ Real Estate Signage

We recently completed some exterior commercial signage for a large real estate company. The sign faces themselves are 8ft x 10ft and elevated another 2ft off of the ground for visibility from the highway. The ‘V’ shaped structure allows for two-way viewing depending on the direction of traffic.

We’ve recently completed a brand new pylon sign refacing using an existing pylon box for CPL. Materials included acrylic three-dimensional graphics, stainless steel backer panels and a custom frame.
